Introducing the Risk Engine

Today we're excited to announce the Risk Engine, a new feature that helps you prioritize what needs attention first.

The Problem: Alert Fatigue

When you're tracking dozens or hundreds of items, not all alerts are created equal. An expiring SSL certificate on your main domain is far more critical than a newsletter subscription renewal.

Without prioritization, teams face alert fatigue and may miss the truly critical items buried among less important ones.

How the Risk Engine Works

Our Risk Engine calculates a risk score (0-100) for each tracked item based on:

1. Time to Expiration

  • Items expiring sooner get higher risk scores
  • Exponential increase as expiration approaches

2. Criticality Level

  • Critical: Core business operations
  • High: Important but not mission-critical
  • Medium: Standard business functions
  • Low: Nice-to-have services

3. Business Impact

  • Revenue-generating services score higher
  • Customer-facing items prioritized
  • Integration dependencies considered

4. Historical Patterns

  • Items that have caused issues before
  • Renewal complexity history
  • Vendor reliability factors

The Risk Dashboard

The new Risk Dashboard shows:

  • Overall workspace health score
  • Items requiring immediate attention
  • Trending risk patterns
  • Predicted future risk states

Smart Prioritization

Instead of a flat list of upcoming renewals, you now see items ranked by actual risk to your business. This means:

  • Focus on what matters most
  • Reduce alert fatigue
  • Never miss a critical renewal
  • Better resource allocation
