Securing Your Account with 2FA
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your CautionHQ account.
Why Enable 2FA?
With 2FA enabled, even if someone gets your password, they won't be able to access your account without the second factor.
Setting Up 2FA
- Go to Account Settings
- Click on "Security"
- Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the verification code
- Save your backup codes in a safe place
Supported Authenticator Apps
- Google Authenticator
- Authy
- 1Password
- Microsoft Authenticator
Backup Codes
When you enable 2FA, you'll receive backup codes. Store these securely - they can be used to access your account if you lose your authenticator device.
